Lake County History Center

RSSThe Lake County History Center is a 30-acre heritage complex operated by the Lake County Historical Society. The Center is located on the grounds of an historic summer estate in Kirtland Hills, Ohio. Visitors are welcome to explore the galleries and exhibits in the historic home, visit the Jack E. Daniels Living History Village or wander the wooded paths and picnic areas. The Center hosts N.E. Ohio festivals and events, offers educational field trips, and primary document research facilities. The mission of the Lake County Historical Society is committed to ensuring through its collections,primary document library, programs, and community outreach, the preservation of Lake County historical records and cultural traditions and to promote interest in, and understanding of the individuals and issues which formed and continue to mold the history of Lake County, Ohio.
